The PIER Mentoring program, originally funded by California Sea Grant to the Center for Diverse Leadership in Science at UCLA in partnership with East LA College, seeks to serve and uplift underrepresented and non-traditional students in STEM by offering hands-on and lab-based experiences for community college students.
