Hey!!! My name is Gabriel Nascimento (he/him) :) I'm the current President of the Elac Environmental Club and an Environmental Studies major. I am an international student from Brazil, with the objective of promoting environmental awareness and sustainability throughout the club activities, supporting a better future for the next generations.

Hey there! I’m Kira and I’m majoring in Geology with a focus on oceanography. I am a poetry author, van traveller, and passionate about saving the environment from its current condition! Kira is the author of Surrender to Gravity

I'm Bernadette born and raised in East LA. I have been a returning student at ELAC for almost two years. In 2020, I had my daughter, and shes the one who inspired me to return to ELAC for an AA in Early Childhood Education. After some time back at school I realized I want to work with kids and do environmental work because something I like to say is that the change starts with us, and kids are the future. My goal is to double major in Early Childhood Education and Environmental Studies and transfer to CSULB in Fall 2025.

My role is vital, and I take it seriously, ensuring that our voices are heard and our initiatives are prioritized. I am committed to championing environmental issues and driving impactful change within our community.

“ Hi! My name is Paula Valera (She/her). I am majoring in Environmental Science and am looking to transfer to study wildlife conservation. My influence for pursuing studying the environment came from learning about the Yellowstone Wolf Project and seeing what a difference one species had on an ecosystem and it made me reflect back to how impactful we humans influence the whole world and have the possibility to change our ways and better our world and can help each other. “
